Within the scope of the Student Selection Process held biennially, 49,052 candidate students who successfully completed the previous stages will move on to the final step on their journey to becoming DENEYAP students in the Practical Exam to be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The exam will be administered simultaneously across 114 centers in 81 provinces of Turkiye. The Practical Exam will take place in two separate sessions for high school and middle school groups.

What awaits students on exam day?

In the Practical Exam, not only students' theoretical knowledge but also their problem-solving, creative and original thinking, innovative solution development, project design, and self-expression skills will be evaluated.

Students will design an original project based on the theme given to them on exam day and present their developed project to the jury members. Therefore, candidates do not need to prepare or memorize a specific project before the exam.

Points to Consider on Exam Day
Candidate students must:

• Carry their exam entrance documents and official ID cards with them on exam day,
• Take the exam at the center and hall specified in their exam entrance documents,
• Be present at the exam center before the start time so that registration and orientation procedures can be completed on time,
• Comply with the directions of the staff and jury members throughout the exam,
• Showcase their original ideas, problem-solving, and project development skills, keeping in mind that the exam is a practical evaluation.

The topic of the Practical Exam will not be shared in advance; it will be announced to the students on the day of the exam.

Students who successfully complete the Practical Exam and are admitted to DENEYAP Makers Labs within the quota will gain the opportunity to receive free technology education for 36 months.
